1- THE ROADMAP - A BRIEF

After many bike trips with my wife through Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Luxembourg, Italy, and others, now we have the opportunity to realize a trip to Alaska.

We are departing on 04.02.11. The prevision is ride 70,000 Kms, 214 days, through South, Central and North America, crossing all Alaska, through the polar circle, until the Artic Ocean.            

We'll leave Brazil through Acre, crossing the new Bioceanic road, through the Peruvian Amazon, crossing the Andes, to arrive on the Pacific in Nazca,  bordering the ocean to Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, always bordering the Pacific (west coast), including the Aztec Inca ruins and major cities and tourist attractions. Entering on the United States on Tucson, Arizona riding to Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, and Navajo reservation. Then Las Vegas, through Zion Park in Utah, to the Death Valley, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite National Park, going to the northern United States in Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore, then Chicago, Illinois to start a trip on the Route 66 until Santa Monica in California, returning to the same place that we have acessed the US. In Los Angeles we will take the highway to San Francisco, going north to enter Vancouver, Canada. In this region are the Rockie Montains, we will make several tours there, it´s considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. Later we will go up to Alaska to reach Prudhoe Bay

On arrival we will cross Canada west to east, coast to coast, Pacific to Atlantic, visiting Niagara Falls, and re-entering the United States on the east coast, visiting Boston/New York/Washington/Miami ond others until last possible point Key West. From there, we return to Miami, Orlando, Disney Land, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, out of the US, to Mexico, in Laredo, via Monterrey, Mexico City and Cancun. In Mexico we will be in Belize, then Tikal in Guatemala, by Atlantic coast (Caribbean Sea), Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, through precarious roads cross the Amazon rainforest, Suriname, French Guiana, entering in Brazil by Oiapoque, than Macapá, Belém, Teresina, Fortaleza, Natal, João Pessoa, Recife, Maceió, Aracaju, Salvador, Feira de Santana, Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo and finally in Rôlandia, Paraná the city where we live.
